iPadOS 16.2 battery management issue

I have a 2020 iPad Pro. Since the iPadOS16 I've noticed an issue that the Notes app doesn't sync consistently. Then I see when going to photos, it saud syncing paused to save battery. But it seems to be doing this anytime it goes below 50%. I'd rather it not. Any way to tell iPadOS to keep on syncing regardless of the battery?

Is Low Power Mode on? Since you said 50%, I'd imagine not...but figured I would ask! Also, do you have a cell enabled iPad? if so, you might want to ensure that you allow syncing over cellular data (if your plan is unlimited).
