When I attempt to install iPadOS 17 developer beta, the update downloads, is verified, and goes through the complete install process (apple icon on screen, progress bar, reboots - about 8 minutes to complete install portion). However, it reboots back into iPadOS 16.4. I have tried to install developer betas 3-7, and all have acted this way.
Furthermore, since my attempt to install beta 4, my iPad will no longer backup to iCloud. The backup toggle is on, but neither automatic, nor manual attempts to backup are successful. I would wipe the iPad and reinstall from that last backup (July 26), but I’m afraid that it won’t install like the betas won’t, and I’ll be left with a bricked iPad.
