Took a vacation to Florida and left the MacBook Pro at home, taking only the iPad Pro 11.
Used my DJI Mavic Air to take some drone footage, and was able to transfer the footage directly from the drone to the iPad Pro with ONLY A USB-C CORD!!! NO MORE DONGLES. NO MORE HAVING TO PACK MY 15’ MACBOOK PRO FOR EVERY TRIP!! The file system quickly recognized the built in memory card in the drone and was able to easily transfer files onto a new folder I made in my internal iPad storage (not iCloud Drive) and I was also able to delete the footage off the drone afterwards.
A proper file system on iPadOS has really improved my iPad Pro. Really glad its finally a reality. iPad Pro is becoming my favorite device, after years of being an awesome secondary device.
