in the technical specs.. it says 2x optical zoom... so iphone 11 has telephoto...

It has wide and ultra wide.

@chrfr is correct. Optical zoom may imitate a telephoto, but it’s just cropping the image.

It does not have telephoto. It has the ability to change the zoom from wide to ultra wide. This is where the 2x change in zoom occurs. It is 2x zoom down as they say on the Apple website.
