I've decided that I wanted to buy an iPhone 11 since it dropped to $499, but when I went to order it, it said it would be delivered in mid to late November. The 12 and the 13 aren't delayed like this. Is there a sudden large demand for the 11?

There is a demand for iPhones - 11, 12, and 13.

And there are folks waiting for long periods of time to receive their 13. As an example of the demand... every Apple Store in New York City is currently out of stock for the 13 Pro Max.

I agree with @chscag, although I doubt that they are still manufacturing iPhone 11's. Whatever is still available is surely left over stock since that model is now 2 years old.

Or are they (still producing that model)?

AT&T still shows even the iPhone Xs and Xs Max as available, though. At full retail price! As well as all of the iPhone 11, 12 and now 13 models. Some are discounted, some are not.

But it's telling me that the 12 and 13 will ship in late October, but the 11 is late November. I'm tempted to buy a refurbished iPhone!

The iPhone 11 is still being produced. The XR was discontinued.

Interesting. But how do you know it is still being produced, vs supplies coming from left-over stock?
Well, the XR was a big seller last year. I'm sure the 11 is no different. $499 is an attractive price point for an iPhone.

OK, well, that doesn't mean they are still producing them. I get it that they are still selling them, sure.

It's not that important, I was simply curious. Thanks.
I'm sure they still produce them. The 11 probably will not be discontinue until the 14 is announced next year. Remaining stock wouldn't last another year.

Which models of the 12 and 13? The 12 Mini and 13 Mini are plentiful and can be picked up at most local Apple Stores. But that's not the case for some other models such as the 13 Pro Max. I doubt if you ordered a 13 Pro Max today that it would ship by the end of October.

I meant the regular 12 and 13, though the 12 and 13 mini also deliver in late October.
