iPhone 12 mini iPhone 12 mini error 9 ecoATM?

My Mom had a drop on her 12 mini (with case on) and Genius Bar was unable to make any headway. Screen is fine, housing is fine, it just won’t leave the restore screen and constantly gets Error 9 when plugged into computer. Don’t want to pay the $400 for apple to replace the device but also feel like there’s some value left in it with some functional parts.

Has anyone ever used ecoATM?

Does this happen with a DFU restore? Or just a normal restore.

@three, yes. It was stuck on the restore screen since the Genius Bar tried their attempts in in store. I tried many times on different computers and always got error 9.
