No, not "hip" cool, color temp cool. Cue Eiffel 65...

Normal or screen protector effect? 11Max vs 12, TrueTone off, Auto Brightness off on both. Apologies, taken on my kid's 6. While nobody really views a phone like that, at slight angles there's still a slight gradient change.

Thats what OLED does. Every single solitary OLED screen will shift when viewing at an angle. That shift can be yellow, or blue.
