Carrier iPhone 13 IUP no physical SIM?

I went through the IUP process for iPhone 13 Pro and I am with ATT. I remember seeing somewhere during the process where there was a footnote stating that my plan will be activated with eSIM and I should contact the carrier if I need a physical sim.
