I have a 256GB 12 Pro Max and am increasing the storage on the 14 Pro Max to 512GB. With taking photos, videos and downloading songs and apps, I will feel more at peace with more storage space, especially if I decide to keep my phone for 2 years vs upgrading yearly.

I’ve never come close to using up 256 GB of space on my desktop I’ve had for 10 years filled with photos, videos, large documents, backup files and documents. Rarely does a phone need that much space or even more.

That’s less than one hour of Pro Res video . . . something that the phone is advertised for.

Good idea. With the higher resolution photos and 4K video Cinematic mode in the 14 Pro it should take up more storage space, unless Apple have impressive compression technology, still always to be safer with more storage than not enough
