Is anyone else fighting with this? I often get awful grainy photos because iOS is using the macro sensor in situations it shouldn't.
I'm a photographer and understand the iPhone 14 Pro's main lens has a ~8" minimum focus distance, but the macro sensor often gets selected for photos well beyond that range. Sometimes I open Camera and it instantly erroneously switches, even though it's pointed at a landscape or room.
I have the Macro Control setting enabled, but it still defaults to "on" once iOS deems it's needed. It really should default to "off" and let us turn it on when we need it.
