iPhone 15/Plus iPhone 15 gets very hot with CarPlay (iOS 17.4)

Hi!

I have a brand new iPhone 15, the latest iOS 17.4. Using it with CarPlay (wired, using USB-A to USB-C cable that came with my e-book reader, but that should be an issue) the phone gets extremely hot. Before I was using iPhone 11 with the same iOS version and the phone was almost cold.

I really don't like that my brand new phone gets that hot. It is certainly not good for the device.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
