Here’s proof the IPhone 15 Pro lineup will get much improved camera upgrades. This is a taken from the Huawei newsroom website…

“He mentioned that two of the standard iPhone 15 model comes with stacked CIS. However, if it wasn’t for the US ban, Huawei would have been the first smartphone company to use CIS even before 2023.

The stacked-designed CIS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) is a recent technological advancement involving the addition of extra layers above the photodiode layer. This enhancement aims to optimize the camera system’s circuitry. These added layers bring benefits like improved noise reduction, brighter image rendering, heightened detail capture, and overall superior image processing.”

Do they mean added to the pro phones? Surely they won’t put more advanced components in the standard phones and not the pros.

Doesn’t mean Sony implemented it the right way. Apple will tune the output to get the most of images. They have some tricks up their sleeves to improve on data output.
