Y’all realise your cycle counts are high because the 15 pro max is draining battery for no apparent reason , right ?

It's a good thing the new iPhones and iOS 17 have the random nightly shut off feature then to conserve battery life.

51.....I gotta be doing something wrong. I use my phone for everything though from a bus pass, to a car key, to a house key, to my credit cards etc. I don't watch TV, I mostly just watch my phone, etc.

I charge my phone every other day because it lasts so long, even though I'm using my phone constantly. I use a 30W fast charger with all the battery health optimization features turned off.

i have charging set to 80% limit and always charge when it gets to 20-25%. despite "losing out" on ~40-45% battery life the battery life is great for me. i last charged to 80% at 13:08 on Thursday so it has been just over 28 hours since being charged (it's now 17:19 on Friday). I'm currently at 31% charge.

If i charged to 100% and used it to 5-10% then the battery life would be phenomenal!

I usually keep the charge between 80 and 40% because that lasts me all day, and it keeps the battery ‘healthy’.

Well, I have 250 cycles in 4 years. 10 since launch on a 15 series sounds like a lot to me!

15 Pro Max, launch day. 28 cycles. I am on wifi with cellular radio off for most of the day, set to not charge above 80%. I do not keep it on the charger overnight, and see drops of ~20% overnight even with low power mode on.
