Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, first time here
Safari crashes after a website gives me a push notification, such as a "Would you like to visit our mobile formatted website?" notification. It's any push notification, including the appstore and other official websites. No other apps are affected. I did clear Safari's cache and cookies and I restarted my iPhone. Safari is still open in the multi task bar after the crash, and upon opening it brings me back to whatever page/google search I was on before the crash. Safari works fine otherwise.

I don't think those are "push" notifications as I'm thinking it's popups from javascript on the web page. There have been others experiencing those sort of crashes. It shouldn't happen and I think your best solution is to restore the iPhone.

You could turn off javascript in settings to see if that prevents the crashing. However, that's not a cure for the problem.
