So strange! I took the back off of this iphone 4s, model number a1387 running IOS 7.0.4. All I did was take the back off, it was before i even fully lifted the back off that I tested the lock button for some reason and it did not work. Before I took the back off, the button worked great and clicks well, didn't feel like it was loosing it fresh click feel..

Here's something more strange.. When I press and hold the home button alone for about 7 seconds it turns off. The phone is not jailbroken. It will only turn on after that by being connected to power.

The proximity sensor works.
