iPhone 5 restoration problem

Hey there guys,
I have an iPhone still running on iOs 6
If I restore it will I be forced to update to iOs 7 or is there a way so I can restore and keep iOs6?

You should be able to reset your iPhone from the Settings app, but why don't you just upgrade to iOS 7? It runs perfectly fine and doesn't have the SSH security hole you currently have on iOS 6.
