Has there been any news on the new iPhones having CarPlay features?

Also, any rumors as to when CarPlay will be released?

Carplay has been out since iOS 8.0 and it works well on the iPhone 6+ with a carplay enabled stereo. My iPhone 6+ works just fine with a Pioneer AVIC-5000NEX car stereo.

What about cars such as the 2014 Honda Civics? Do they get software updates or something soon
