I haven’t got the patience or expensive monthly subs allowance.

Whilst I and millions off iPhone customers await new iPhone.

I’ve been thinking with IPhone 7 already@50.00 per month.

Is it worth upgrading from iPhone 6 to Iphone SE.

Thinking with 140.00 IPhone 6 recycle, and SE@27.00 per month.

I could run SE next year and allow early adopters to enjoy new IPhone.

Is there any features such as Apple Pay or io11 that I could loose out on via SE.

The smaller screen size isn’t a concern at all.

Advice please MSER’s

The SE is a good model but, depending on how deep your pockets are, the next iPhone will be far more advanced and a good choice.

Going from a 6 to an SE seems strange although you do get a chip that is one generation newer. Try out the SE in Glasgow's Apple store - it may appeal to you.

i have an iPhone 5.0
Next round of firmware will make the iPhone 5.0 obsolete so i have to update to the 8.

The OP has the option to hold off till mid year 2018 and wait for apple to resolve any iPhone 8 bugs.

I'd go for the SE-- powerful and pocketable.

But then I'd also not finance it (buy one outright every 3-4 years instead), and use the savings to buy other nice things.

Thanks 1st to mention that reply :)

Any particular reason to avoid SE (I don’t want new iPhone sales pitch)
iPhone 7 will go down in "economic" chain one tier, so it will be now 550$, instead of 650. I am waiting for this so I can jump from iP4S straight to 7.

Via o2 chat today SE 32gb Sivler new -30.00 per month.

That’s only 10.00 more than my iPhone 6 sim only tarriff.

I’ll decide next few mins.

Certain next gen iPhone is heading towards +50/60 per month-I’ll wait another year or two and run SE,

The SE is a great iPhone. I personally don't think you can go wrong if you appreciate the form factor and over all size.

If screen size isn't a factor then the SE is a no-brainer. Excellent value and a definite step up from the 6, both in terms of processing speed and double the ram for better multitasking (which is also aided further by the smaller screen/less pixels to push).

You get Apple Pay, a better camera, bags of storage on the 128gb model, everything else same or better than the 6 except for screen size.

The reports I've seen suggest it runs iOS 11 perfectly.

Thanks everyone!

Might be a little mad tech decision though I’m happy to delay next gen IPhone until 2018.

Meanwhile I’ve a SE 32gb Silver being delivered Tues.

That’s my excellent iPhone 6 due to be recycled next week.

What I have learned for years is storage isn’t important to myself.

Only regret maybe if Apple launch and amazing wireless charging iphone that doesn’t need a dongle plugged into mains socket!

Certain I’ll continue happy with IPad Pro 10.5+IPhone SE -if for any reason I change my mind there’s always 14 days to cancel etc.

So the iPhone 8 will have bugs and a new update will fix them next summer? Thanks, I won't buy the 8 now.

I think you will enjoy the SE. I have been using it on iOS 11 beta as my main phone and love it. Fast and very responsive. I also like the headphone jack as I use an aux cord in my patrol car. The form factor is a plus as well. Plus you can't be the price if you don't need the newest tech!

This was my decider reply amongst others.

Apple Pay/ios11/possibly fast browsing.

SE it is then from Tues.

Then a iPhone 6de install/recycle via o2.

As i’m Keeping existing mob number hope my contacts switch to SE not that I make a lot of calls.

I’ll just need to keep eye on data usage as 1 or 2 months have used +3 gig though not a great concern, only for reading news when i’m away from home.

In addition to SE upgrade i’ll Enjoy wwdc and new iPhone launch and reading lots of reviews etc.

I bought a 64GB SE right after the new ones released because I don't need a 128GB. Honestly though, I rarely use my SE and I still prefer my iPhone 6, 6S and 6S+. I just feel the display is too small and it's missing features that the 6S/6S+ have

Re install apps -complete.

No reset required.

Very fast device.

For those with patience and required level of investments, enjoy next gen iPhone!

Meanwhile I’m settled with SE

SE solid little device.

I’ve since re enabled keychain.

Air printed a letter and label for iPhone 6o2 recycle.

Clio medianavtech calls +music.

Interesting why ios11 pb3 doesn’’t show any lag whilst browsisng etc...must be the a9x since a8x.

Looking forward to next gen iPhone wwdc when I can enjoy reviews and early adaptor ratings.
