I have an old iPhone 6s model # A1633 with a burned out screen (spent some time in some water). There are a lot of choices for replacement screens, with various reviews about the functionality, responsiveness and color quality. Does anyone have a reputable reseller who sells screens for the A1633 which aren't complete garbage? Thanks in advance.

Are you planning on, or are you capable of doing it yourself? I'm only asking because if it was in water, there may be more wrong with it than just the screen. For the price of repairing the phone, it may be cheaper just to replace it. Nowadays an iPhone 6s can be had rather cheap.

I'm going to do it myself. Pretty sure the phone will work if I replace the screen. It was still able to make sounds, etc. but I'm willing to give it a shot, fully knowing that maybe it won't work out. It's not a primary device -- probably something to hand down to a kid.

You can have luck by finding someone who is selling original parts from non-working 6s.
