iPhone 6(S)/Plus iPhone 6S Battery replacement question

So If my battery was replaced by a 3rd party service recently, am I SOL for the $29 replacement at the apple store? This new battery throttles the CPU down to 600-911 Mhz. iOS is a lag fest.

You voided your chance of warranty with the 3rd party service. Maybe they still will but I would not count on it.

Was your phone part of the 6s battery replacement program a while ago - I'll bet a lot of people ignored it or never bothered reading about it and now they have a problem. I wonder if people who had their battery replaced on a 6s when Apple was doing it due to defects are now having this problem.

Doesn’t hurt to try but, they may have an issue with the 3rd party replacement
