Hello, I bought the phone when it was released. I had the battery replaced at a discount under some kind of battery-gate compensation program by Apple. Recently, even the phone is fully charged, if I turn on LTE with location service on, the battery dropped from 100% to about 20%, say in about 2 Hours. Is this normal? Battery capacity status is 80%.

If replacing the battery, will it be as good as new? Do the latest iPhones run out of battery quickly with LTE and location service on?

Try to get an Apple original battery, they usually work the best. Whichever battery you get, look at the manufacturing date. You don't want a "new" battery that has been on a shelf for many years.

While I was trying to check the price for battery replacement, I found that my iPhone 6S+ is a vintage product. Does that mean an Apple Store is not going to replace the battery?

I’m using a 6S plus too with 100% battery health and the battery doesn’t run down super fast like yours. It’s discharge rate seems normal

Only available for battery service in the U.S. If you're in another country, the Apple Store won't do it due to its status.

Apple said 6S+ is a vintage product and they don't have a new battery for me even I am willing to pay. They told me to just buy a new iPhone or send the old phone to a 3rd party repairing store.
