After hearing about Apple's CPU throttling, I replaced my battery about 2 weeks ago. My CPU frequency is 911MHz when my battery is at 88%. I used a 3rd party service so I'm assuming the battery is not OEM even though the guy said it is? Currently running iOS 11.2.1...

Is it even possible to buy a new OEM battery online?

No, the only way to get Apple parts is through Apple or Apple approved service providers
