Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone had this issue before:

Last night my iPhone got dropped into a glass of water. It's an iPhone 7. After I removed it, the home button wasn't working. It would scan my finger print but any "pressing" on the button wouldn't do anything. It seems the touch and scan part worked just fine. Only the pressing wouldn't work. Everything else with the phone seemed to work fine. This morning, everything is almost back to normal! A couple strange behaviour. But nothing too big. I booked a time with Apple Store to get it checked (they're so busy I had to book next week!). I have Apple Care + on the phone. But not sure how this may fly with them since this can be technically water damage which, ironically, iPhone is supposed to be resistant to (with IP67 standards). But I'm curious if this has happened to anyone before.

Thanks,

cheers
