I'm toying with the idea of taking an iPhone 6s Plus or iPhone 7 Plus display and turning it into a really small, but highly portable HDTV (seeing as the screen resolution is exactly 1080p). Does anyone know if the connectors on the display cable can be either attached to any other type of logic board (with or without the help of adapters) or if it's one of those things where it's an Apple proprietary connector only found on Apple boards (and therefore useless outside of the context of an iPhone)?

Alternatively, if anyone has insights as to the part number for the display itself (outside of the context of the fused display assembly), I could probably more easily go that route.

It's a great screen and SOMEONE should be doing SOMETHING with it if Apple no longer is.
