Hi, the younger the kid the more precious the photos. Keeping that in mind, I have found the iPhone 7 to blow out highlights a lot (exposes too bright), has a lot of blur even in burst mode, and is not sharp and looks watercolor like zoomed to 75-100%.
Autofocus seems on the slow side as well.

So: How much faster is the 8 vs 7’s autofocus, are the pics sharper, is the watercolor effect gone, is there as much motion blur?

I have seen reviews and stuff but I still think it’s different when taking pics of children indoors and out. I want to know what people think of the suitability of the 8 vs 7 and even 6s. I wouldn’t even think about upgrading at all if the 8’s camera isn’t a solid step forward with regards to everyday usage for kid pics. I think I see an improvement in stages pics that I find on the internet. Every camera can produce a few keepers but I want to know if the 8 is more consistent than the 7.
