Carrier iPhone 8 Plus 12.1.2 (16C101) No True Tone Display option on either Control Center and Settings.

Hello guys, need a clarification here. Situation is, I recently acquired an iPhone 8 Plus and updated to (12.1.2).

My question now is did Apple remove the true-tone option in the settings and control center on the latest OS? Because it is absent in my iPhone 8 Plus.

Have you checked under Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accomodations as well?

It’s listed on my X under display & brightness.. I’m on 12.1.2

I knew it. I was not alone. So it’s a widespread problem across iOS devices running 12.x.x.

I visited a lot of forums and sites. Hoping that somebody have a workaround or something. Again, Wow!

If you swipe up to for the control panel and hold Brightness then there’s the night shift and True Tone selection. Still unsure why it disappeared from the preference pane but least still exists.

Nm...yours still doesn’t have it. I dunno. Sorry!

The setting will be missing if you have a non-OEM screen.

I have it in control center and under display and brightness on my non-plus 8, fwiw.
