I just bought an iPhone 8 Plus (big change from my previous phone, an iPhone 5s) and trying to wrap my brain around all the charging options (Fast Charging, Wireless Charging, etc.). This post is primarily on wireless charging options for the iPhone 8 / 8 Plus.

I've done some research and watched a few videos around the wireless charging feature, this being a good example:

Looking it seems there are normal wireless charging pad, and 'fast or quick' wireless charging pads. My main questions are:

- I've read that these normal wireless charging pads are slower than the 5W AC charger that comes with the iPhone 8 Plus. Is that true?
- If these normal wireless charging pads ARE slower, than should I ONLY be looking at the 'fast or quick' wireless charging pads?
- Is there a good cheap fast wireless charging pad that everyone recommends?
