iPhone 8/Plus iPhone 8 signal reception

Given the back of the phone has changed over to glass has anyone noticed better cell reception. I work in a building that is a signal nightmare for pretty much every carrier. I would be coming from a 6 that constantly gains and looses signal there. Hoping the 8 would hold it better.

I had a 6s and now the 8. I have not noticed any real difference between the 2 but then I usually get 4 or 5 bars on either device where I am at.

Under the glass is mostly metal so the change in material won’t have a significant effect on signal reception.
