I've never thought of this before because I've only ever had one line or all in the same country but does it matter which sim I activate my new iPhone from, I have a physical sim from EE UK and an eSIM from Mint Mobile both with active service.
It would be an Unlocked device so I guess it doesn't matter but didn't want to activate using eSIM first to only find out it wont work when I return home on EE.
