So I bought a second hand Straight talk iPhone (which is carrier unlocked).
I start setting it up on wifi.
Get to the home screen and everything.
When I put in my Tmobile sim card, it jumps back to the "Hello, Hola, Bonjour" setup screen.
I continue, enter my icloud info, enable location services, set up touch ID later, dont enter a password, enter my icloud password again, then I get to the "welcome to iPhone" screen.

When I hit "get started, it shows the home screen, jumps back to the welcome screen with the hello in various languages, and the popup "activation required".

I dismiss, repeat the process, and the result is the same.

This phone is neither icloud locked or carrier locked, so whats the deal? Ive restored it and restarted it, and nothing. How can I activate it?

And as soon as I take out my sim card, it goes back to the home screen. I called straight talk and they said there is nothing to unlock because all their phones are carrier unlocked... So they were less than helpful
