Hey.. does anyone know how accurate (or inaccurate) iPhones frequent locations are?

There is a situation where someone's location is being tagged elsewhere: Under frequent locations, the location visited was listed under 'Town A', but when you click on 'Town A' to see the establishment they were at, it is showing they were at another location located in another town, 'Town B' that is about 25-30 miles away.

I am wondering how this could have possibly gotten mixed up? Was this person in Town A? Were they actually at Town B (since this is where it was showing on the map with the blue bubble)? Or is it possible that they were never at either of these locations, and their phone just totally screwed up?

Any insight would be so much appreciated.
