Hello
Posting this in iPhone as it relates to 'Recents' album in Photos.

A while back I imported a load of old photos from my Mac to Photos app on Mac.

On the iPhone, in Library view, everything is in the correct order.

However, if for example when I go to another app such as Whatapp and attach a photo, it defaults to albums\recents and then I have to scroll through a bunch of photos from 2013-2016 in order to get to photos taken earlier this year.

How can I stop this? They are not "recently taken" but "recently imported" I guess.

I think it means recently added to icloud. If i want to see photos on chronological order I go to All Photos.

I know know what you are saying about accessing photos from other apps. Some apps allow you to see all albums, including All Photos, like Instagram. But for some reason you can't see All Photos from Whatsapp. I think that's the app's fault not iOS.
