I decided to wait and read reviews before I purchased any kind of case for my iPhone.
I've always liked the case that came with my T-Mobile Dash (leather, horizontal, magnetic flap, sewn-in belt clip), so I tried the iPhone in it. A perfect fit!
I can't whip the iPhone out quickly, but that's the way I like it. I wear in on the right, and when I need the phone, I pry open the flap with a couple of my lesser fingers, and push the iPhone up from the front bottom corner with my index finger. Then I pluck it out of the case with my thumb and index finger.
The case is open where the speaker is, and I can just access the headphone jack when the iPhone is in the case. I think I'm done hunting for a case.
