Hi folks - I've got a new 16 GB iPhone that I suspect is a lemon. When the AT&T person went to plug it in, it had not charge, so she was unable to complete the setup at the store. I took it home, plugged it into iTunes, and everything seemed to work fine.

However, the battery seemed to charge very quickly, and then it discharged to zero quickly. The iPhone also won't power off using the button on the top-right. It will also not sleep using that button. After a reset, the phone needs to be plugged in even after it says it has a full charge. Granted, I've only had the device for about 6 hours, but this is worrisome. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for resolving it, short of returning it and getting a new phone? I've reset the iPhone, as well as done a full restore, and neither seemed to help...

Thanks,

matt
