So I have had the Samsung S5 and the signal strength is great where I live, I just purchased the iPhone 6 and the strength is bad! I have LTE with the S5, 4G with the iPhone 6.

What gives? Can the iPhone 6 be that bad reception wise?

At the iPhone hacks section.
Both phones on tmobile at the same exact location?
I know signal can vary by phone though.
Different design, different antennas used, tech, software, maybe even different signal bar strength displayed etc...

Yep, same location, same service. Was really shocked to be honest.

Heck my t-mobile iPad air gets LTE at my house.

I would check how your data plan is configured.

O2 had to change me on to a specific iPhone data plan. Probably because of visual voicemail and such.
