Problem:
iPhone 6 (full updated) can connect to one set of speakers only - not multiroom as expected with new airplay2.

Speakers in house is actually working as multiroom, when music is streamed from a MacBookPro.

The iPhone sees the same speakers as MBP and can connect to them independently, but not in a multiroom configuration.

Any idea ??

Cheers

Can’t specifically answer about airplay2 since I don’t have it, but one workaround would be to use the remote app to control iTunes on your mbp. That’s what I do for parties to save battery on my phone; since the computer is doing the actual streaming, the demand on the phone is less.

In your case, since the mbp works on multiroom, you would get that functionality plus be controlling it from your phone...

Cheers, however would prefer to not having a laptop open during parties ... juuuuust the phone or a iPad laying on the table would be the best.

Anybody else have this problem ?
