The majority of the time when I swipe down from the right ear I get notification centre rather than control centre. The only time the gesture seems to work is on the lock screen. Has anyone else got this issue? IOS 11.1.

iOS 11.1. Just realised I had control centre access disabled form within apps. Not sure if this is the default or something I carried over from my iPhone 6...
