Has anyone updated from the iPhone X to the XS? What's the difference? Is it worth it?

If you like the camera update, maybe. Other than that, in my personal opinion, it’s not worth it. I have the A1865 model and I haven’t been impressed enough to upgrade.

Ultimately, the choice is up to you. All of us have different opinions.

Up to you if it’s worth it. The camera been greatly imporoved though, faster chip, more ram, slightly better battery life, better water resistance, faster LTE, that’s just off the top of my head.

upgraded from X to Xs
Best Thing for me is the battery and the dual sim option ... now I need one charge per day and can use my private and my business number in one phone ;)

Other threads mainly discuss the core differences, but what You’re really Purchasing is the 6.5 OLED Display and larger battery. Both phones are fairly similar in comparison, even the cameras are almost identical.

The cameras are not almost identical. The Xs has a bigger sensor and bigger pixels, which makes pics noticeably better. Especially, in low light. On top of that, there is Smart HDR that is not available on the X and that makes the Xs pics even better. Also, comparing side by side the Xs camera is faster and has faster focus as well.

That’s my mistake. I read the OP’s thread title incorrectly, I was referring/interpreted the XS and XS Max being similar in comparison with camera specs. The 2017 X is different as you mentioned.

Xs and Xs Max have the exact same camera, so in that case I wouldn’t say almost identical, they are identical.

Coming from X to XS, it aint worth it. I get it bc of the upgrade program. But tbh I can barely tell they are different except I got the XS in silver instead of space grey lol

Got both, XS is faster but if you have a X or are planning to get one used, stick with the X. If you want new then consider if the improvements in XS are worth the extra cost.
