Hey everyone, where in US can you purchase a SIM-free XS for European market?

As it’s like $300 cheaper in the States compared to EU, I was hoping a friend would buy it for me during his visit to the US next month. I know you can purchase a factory unlocked iPhone on Apple.com but as far as I know you cannot choose the EU model, ie. A2097, which would work in EU.

Any ideas?

Apple Store is one way to get one. It should work in EU? And yes U.S only sells the A1920 (XS) and A1921 (XS Max). I don't think you can get the A2097 in the U.S.

So if I bought the A1920 model I wouldn’t be able to use LTE in EU?

The only limitation is that the US model does not have LTE band 28. If you live in a country where you need that band you may see some issues.
