I've had it happen twice that I set the alarm and the iPhone went mute during the night (alarm didn't go off).

The only way to unmute it, was to turn the iPhone off and on.

Does anyone else have that issue? What could cause this?

It just happened again...after I started a countdown.

Really disappointing.

Yes, I also had the bug once after I started a countdown.

When the alarm/countdown starts the whole "sound system" crashes...

It is very annoying

The weird thing is...I purchased my iPhone XS in November 2018 and I never had that issue until like 2 weeks ago.

P.S.: It happened again this morning...alarm didn't go off...the sound system crashed.

I just did some tests.

Even if the sound system hasn't totally crashed yet, volume of the alarm sound stays really low, even if I set it to maximum. It's impossible to adjust the volume for the alarm anymore.
