not sure if anyone else’ has this but I’m getting some choppy animations at times. It’s pretty annoying. My X did not do this.

Turn off animations. They're nothing but distracting, power hungry eye candy that does nothing.

I get occasional stuttering in some third-party apps, but in general my XS Max is noticeably smoother than my iPhone 7.

I prefer my animations turned off however it makes it hard to hit “home” without constantly opening the app switcher.
