I got an iPod 5th gen from someone. I restarted it. I don't know the original owners apple I.D. and have no way of getting in contact with them. I really need to know how to bypass the activation security.
Please if anybody can help I am desperate.

Thanks :);)

Craig's right, if a little blunt with the assessment. Sorry Ninja, no way around it.

Beyond contacting the original seller or leaving them bad feedback, there's unfortunately nothing you can do...

Give the stolen iPod back to its owner. If you didn't steal it, the person who gave it to you did.

How does one "get" a used iPod from someone they can't contact?

It's called a friggin pawn shop. My friend got it from there and then she restated I told her I would take a look at it see if I could fix it. Not stolen. :p;)
