ipod calendar and ical not syncing correctly with mobile me

when I sync the calendar on my Ipod and my Ical on my macbook pro using mobile me. The added events are off by 24 hours. I have already checked the date and time on my macbook and my i pod touch. help what am i doing wrong

Make sure that your iPod and your Macbook are set to the same Time/Date Zone
