I was playing around with some IPv6 stuff on the Mac network and noticed that the average latency was 0.2 ms higher using IPv6. I even tried disabling IPv4 thinking that it might be trying to tunnel v6 over v4 but nothing changed.

Anyone else notice this?

First off you should really have more pings to make conclusions...try running 50 or 100 pings and looking at the values.

Second, it might be losing time resolving the iMacG5.local into an IP address, I mean, thinking about the time you're looking at here... .2 milliseconds is an extremely short period of time. Try putting in the address manually.
