does anyone who has the beta know if airplay 2 is for mac now as watching videos has a huge lag on homepod, just wondering if its been fixed in the new macos

I'm using my HomePod with 10.13 High Sierra on my 12 inch MacBook and the lag is very small like 2ms where it's barely noticeable unless your looking for it. The latest HomePod Update 11.4 fixed the lag for me.

itunes is fine but when you select main audio out using youtube etc has hug lag

Both Netflix and Youtube work with no issues. Maybe 2ms at most, not very noticeable again unless your looking for it. Facebook has most lag to me. But always has with bluetooth speakers also before HomePod.
