One of the things I’ve always liked about the Apple TV is iMovie Theatre. If you’re not familiar with it, it allows you to create movies on your iOS device and upload them into the cloud. Later when the family is all gathered in front of the TV you can open up the iMovie Theatre app in your Apple TV and there are all of your videos.

However, mine hasn’t worked for a while. I get an error message “Cannot connect to iMovie Theatre, There may be a problem with iCloud or your internet connection”. I assume there’s a problem that I need to fix.

First, I thought I’d check and see if the app is even working any more. I’d hate to find out that Apple has discontinued support for this app.

Strange that they'd discontinue the Apple TV app but not the rest of the iOS and Mac side of it. Wonder if that'll come eventually too.
