XS Max has issues and it's being suggested by Apple that it's a hardware issue ie. silly money for a repair.

Wondering if it's worth taking a chance on a tool like this website:


To see if that solves it (basically flashing Apple logo), restoring doesn't get it out of that mode.

They say they have a money back guarantee if they can't fix it, but who knows the chances of getting your money back really.

Anyone have any experience with them?

Okay never mind. It's complete trash and a bit of a scam.

It's simply the Update and Restore modes that your Mac already has once you plug an iPhone in recovery mode into your computer.

Waste of 30 dollars. Must be tons of people conned by this. No extra options or diagnostics at all. Certainly not a 'professional repair tool' by any means. Just a way to dupe people who didn't know about your iPhones recovery mode and restore function.

Trying to get a refund on Paypal now. Jeez.
