Is it okay to update to 10.6.4 with the SL graphics update?

I've held back on updating to 10.6.4 on my macbook pro with the 330m because of the gpu performance. Does the SL GPU update address this issue?

I also held off, but updated as soon as the graphics update was available. I play Portal and Half-Life 2 and they both work just fine on my mid 2010 MBP on 10.6.4 w/ the graphics update.

No issues here, did a clean install on a new ssd and everything is smooth as can be.
