Use an iPhone or iPad as a virtual network access point? Reason being, I'm sitting in a hotel room with an iPhone, iPad, and a brand new apple tv. The Atv cannot connect to the hotel wifi due to the ToS login page. Instead of tethering my 4g data, I would like to tether the hotel wifi to the Atv via my iPad. I've searched high and low and came up with nothing. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks
Wes

They cannot act as an ad-hoc network which it sounds like you are trying.

But I am pretty sure that you can use the hotspot feature purely for connection to your idevice for mirrorring to the ATV. (google)
