Hey MR.

Just as the title asks, is the downgrade from Ios 9.1 to 8.4.1 still possible for the iphone 5? I was going an assignment last night when i plugged my phone (iphone 5 64GB) into my macbook Pro 5,5. It asked for the update and i figured what the hell. Its been bothering me forever. I did a backup and away it went.

WORST idea ever. Even with transparency off, reduced motion on, the phone Lags. When im in another app and i get a text, quick reply freezes the phone for a few moments, then eventually catches up. BUt thats pathetic apple. You said it would improve speed on older devices. I dont see that improvement. So ladies and gents, how do i get back to IOS 8.4.1? Thanks

Like I said: no downgrade is possible, and there's no jailbreak for 9.1.

After jailbreak for iOS 9.1 or 9.2 arrives, you can downgrade your iPhone 5 to iOS 8.4.1. Be patient.

Tools: odysseusOTA or odysseus.
Method: Fetch Apple's OTA signature for iOS 8.4.1 firmware and baseband.
